What if access to healthcare wasn’t limited by location? For a nation made up of 17,000+ islands and 38 diverse provinces, this isn't just a question – it's a critical mission. Providing high-quality healthcare to the more than 280 million people who call the islands of Indonesia home is a unique challenge. Together with Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia, we will deploy state-of-the-art image-guided therapy systems nationwide to transform treatment for heart disease, stroke and cancer – as part of the Strengthening Indonesia’s Healthcare Referral Network (SIHREN) project. This collaboration is about more than introducing advanced technology – it’s about expanding access to care for more people closer to home. ➡️ Swipe through to see the type of impact we hope to drive through this initiative. Rising healthcare costs, staff shortages and growing patient needs are placing unprecedented pressure on healthcare systems. At Philips, we understand these challenges not just as industry trends, but as day-to-day reality for clinicians, nurses and patients everywhere. That’s why we partnered with WIRED to explore AI’s true potential. AI is already streamlining workflows, improving diagnostic accuracy and supporting earlier interventions. The result is a more sustainable health system overall, with higher quality care and shorter hospital stays. But technology alone isn’t enough: our focus is on strengthening the expertise of clinicians through a human-centric approach, whilst forging strong strategic partnerships to build healthcare systems that meet the demands of today’s world. 👉 Explore how Philips is reimagining healthcare with AI: https://lnkd.in/ek6TMqhy

Before leading innovation at Philips, Shez Partovi was a neuroradiologist. Early in his medical career, one important question guided his path: "What if I could scale my impact beyond the patients in front of me?" That question sparked his journey, from hospitals to health tech startups. But the mission never changed: how to bring better care for more people. He shared his vision for innovation at scale on stage at TNW Conference 2025. In a world where health systems are under pressure and AI is reshaping possibilities, Shez’s message is clear: think big, act boldly, and innovate with purpose.
